„At least eight people were killed when jets believed to be Russian bombed a Syrian refugee camp on the border with Jordan on Tuesday, activists say. Dozens more were injured when tents at Hammad, a remote desert area, were struck around noon (09:00 GMT). Most of the casualties were reportedly families of members of a rebel group known as the…

Das berichtet die oppositionelle Gruppe ‚Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently‘ (RBBS).

„‚When I tried to kill myself, it was like the devil filled my head,‘ she says, twisting her hands in her lap, her voice flat and expressionless. ‚I don’t remember much about it. All I could think about was that we have nothing, our lives will never improve, and I could relieve my mother of another burden.‘ In February, Khowla’s…

„The Obama administration has proposed a new agreement on Syria to the Russian government that would deepen military cooperation between the two countries against some terrorists in exchange for Russia getting the Assad regime to stop bombing U.S.-supported rebels. The United States transmitted the text of the proposed agreement to the Russian government on Monday after weeks of negotiations and…

„Families of fallen soldiers have accused the Assad regime of burning the corpses of their children and disfiguring them in order to avoid paying compensation to the soldiers’ families. Al-Souria Net learned from two families of fallen Syrian army soldiers that the regime is resorting to this behavior because of the large financial deficit it is facing on one hand,…

Vielleicht protestiert ja das US-State Department.

„U.S. and Russian fighter jets bloodlessly tangled in the air over Syria on June 16 as the American pilots tried and failed to stop the Russians from bombing U.S.-backed rebels in southern Syria near the border with Jordan. The aerial close encounter underscores just how chaotic Syria’s skies have become as Russia and the U.S.-led coalition work at cross-purposes, each…

„The United Nations (UN) in Syria is in serious breach of the humanitarian principles of impartiality, independence and neutrality. By choosing to prioritise cooperation with the Syrian government at all costs, the UN has enabled the distribution of billions of dollars of international aid to be directed by one side in the conflict. This has contributed to the deaths of…

„New documents issued by the Syrian regime have revealed the strong bonds between Damascus and the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and its Syria’s wing, the Democratic Union Party (PYD). The connection is reflected in different forms of cooperation in arming and training, joint fighting and coordination to carry out terror attacks in Turkey by providing logistic and intelligence assistance.…

„Elated women in Syria have removed their niqabs – the face-covering veil made compulsory by Isis – after their village was liberated from the jihadists. The village, on the outskirts of the city of Manbij, Aleppo province, was liberated by US-backed Syria Democratic Forces on Friday after SDF soldiers seized control of the final road leading into the Isis-occupied city. Isis has…

„President Assad has dismissed any possibility of a political resolution for Syria’s five-year conflict, promising more ‚bloodshed‘ to ‚liberate‘ all of the country. In a televised speech to Parliament, Assad used the recapture of the historic city of Palmyra in late March from ISIS to promise victory over all opponents: ‚Our war against terrorism continues, not because we like wars,…
